“I returned home and called whoever it was I was supposed to meet and told them I would not meet them. I didn’t tell them why because, I don’t know, I wasn’t sure I was supposed to mention it yet. Maybe, I thought, it is like a wish, and you’re not supposed to talk about it or it will be horribly maligned. Of course, this definitely wasn’t a wish, but it was something big. I had to believe that. Despite it all, I had to believe that, for some reason, the universe was directing me back home.”
